Margot at RNOH Stanmore 1947

From Adrian on 11th June 2020 Margot at RNOH Stanmore 1947

"...I was too young to start my nurses training in Guy's so my training began in the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London and Stanmore ... I loved all the children and had such fun looking after them, but after seeing so many together with their deformities I began to think that there were no 'normal' children out there in the world. How very wrong I was! I finished at RNOH in September 1947 and the time had come to commence my General Training. Another exciting period of my life was beginning - I seemed to have waited since I was a child for this... Guy's at last! "
